New Medicare Policies Could Restrict Mobility Devices...[VIDEO]
On November 15, 2006, the new Medicare policies will go into effect. Currently, the way the policy is written, people with disabilities could lose coverage for power mobility devices. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, along with National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology (NCART), is calling out to the multiple sclerosis community to join a grassroots effort to convince the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to revise the policy.
